Noriella Santos,  Associate Director

Since graduating from The City College of New York with a B.A. in Sociology, Noriella Santos has worked with many organizations from the Cambodian Children’s Fund to The Boy Scouts of America devoting herself to helping troubled and disadvantaged youth in the forms of education and recreational assistance. Acting as Volunteer Director for charity: water she honed her leadership skills with her natural passion for helping children to transcend her accumulative efforts into becoming a member of The Orphaned Starfish foundation.

Noriella, born and raised in New York City, remembers the “culture shock” from living in the Dominican Republic for two years.  It was the time she was exposed first hand to the differing living conditions outside the United States. Her next time visiting was with The Orphaned Starfish Foundation, an organization with the necessary resources to make an effective difference in a place much of her family still calls home.
